Coaching Approach
Managers nowadays have to deal with a competitive and extremely challenging environment. As a result, here at the Escuela Europea de Coaching, we train our students so that they can acquire the competencies a coach needs.
The Programme is addressed to managers in any functional area of a company who want to improve their communication and active listening skills in order to boost the motivation and performance of their team.
The Manager Coach is someone who commits to their own development and is open to learning, knows that their point of view isn’t the only one, dares to question their own models and recognises the uniqueness of each person.
They are managers who know how to listen, use dialogue instead of argument and build relationships based on trust. They know that we learn from our mistakes, they give the people in their team independence and responsibility and they generate the context in which everyone can develop all of their potential.
Students on these programmes acquire the following skills:
- Empathetic listening
- Generating work relationships based on trust
- Challenging the present by creating a vision of the future shared with their organisation
- Aligning people with this vision
- Conversing effectively: investigation and dialogue
- Asking, offering, requiring and fixing
- Effectively managing their feelings
- (…).
Working sessions are extremely participative, fostering the exchange of experiences and enabling students to put theory into practice so as to deliver enjoyable, customised training.
